Our international ownership team has both a German and South African background, convincing our customers not only of our precision, reliability and experience, but also our hospitality, passion and knowledge of the beauty of the South African landscape. Our main goal is to share all of this with you and help all bike lovers experience the best local sites for cycle sports. CYCLING FRIENDS focuses on four main product and service areas: bike rental, an online bike shop, a bike store in Cape Town where you can find our bike bistro, and guided bike tours. Our love for cycling has inspired us to establish our own cycling team. We started small and now have a team of over ten athletes. The boys and girls put their hearts into it and give everything! The whole project is 100 per cent privately funded by CYCLING FRIENDS.

We are very proud that we have already had our first successes, where our cyclists have achieved excellent placements at local South African racing events.

Our goal is to one day send a South African team to the most significant international races in the world.

Our Team

Our team has grown from two to over 10 people, as our bike shop has expanded and developed over the years. We are based in Cape Town, South Africa and our team come from all over the world.
